Oil Filter Housing torque specs

Hey all, since they’ve taken down newstis, getting specs has been more challenging. Has anyone replaced the Oil Filter Housing and have the torque specs for all the nuts and bolts?

Interesting, i thought each of the fasteners for the oil filter housing gasket to the block was 10nm or 7ftlbs, so the values are different?

Can anybody confirm that all of the OFHG bolts to the block have 10nm torque spec? There is a mix of M6 and M8 bolts. The BMW torque spec reference table specifically assigns 18nm for a different M8 nut that secures the oil lines.

Just want to make sure clamping force is evenly distributed around the gasket so it doesn’t leak. Definitely do not want to do this job again.

I think the important part is assembling in the reverse starting with "3" then "2" then "1" by working the inside to outer fasteners.

I'm pretty sure I did 18 Nm on the M8 bolts on mine. I def went slow on the torque wrench. If it didn't click soon enough, then I stopped and probably adjusted to 15 Nm.

Aluminum grows more with temp than steel, so it'll def clamp with temperature.
