Fantastic! I have a 996 turbo too and just added a G80! Harder to find these with the factory sport seats which are a must imo (look way better and better bolstered). Was this a Tip to manual conversion? The window sticker says this is a Tiptronic. Anyway, good luck with the trade or sale.

It’s a factory six speed. That’s a misprint from the dealer. I just uploaded a pic of the VIN on the car. Also what do you think is f the G80!? How numb is it especially the electric steering feel I hear about? I wish I could have both.

I know it’s probably not the best section for this so I’ll keep it fairly brief and happy to take elsewhere. I’ve owned the last 2 gens as well and I never thought the hydraulic steering in the E9x M3 was that great, not compared to the 996 anyway. But I still love that gen hence why I’m always on here peaking around. Where the EPAS might lack in feel, it’s made up for in precision. Steering dynamics are important to me and I have no concerns here at all. Some of my favorites have been the 996/997 gens, Evo IX, and Giuilia QV. My least favorite was my 991.1 TTS. A lot of reviewers just need to find something to criticize and the steering feel just gets regurgitated or sh#%t on b/c it’s not a P-car. The 275 series front tires help too.
