WTB or WTT: x pipe with primary cats

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Bought a 2011 E90 M3 that came with a Bomiz x pipe. It has 200 cell secondary cats and 2 resonators. It still smells and I'd rather not tune out the CEL. Mainly looking to buy an OEM x pipe but willing to trade if someone has an aftermarket one with 300 cell or higher cats in the primary position. Also willing to buy cats like GESI 300 cell if anyone has them and I'll try welding them onto the Bomiz I guess.

I have no reference point for what other M-owners consider bad or not since I have no other x pipes to compare it to. You don't smell it inside the car but definitely do outside. I have little kids so I don't want the car smelling if I drop them off at school or something.

Ahhh ok. There’s a guy selling the primary oem cats for $400 on the forums. You could definitely take those and weld them into the oem pipe. I’d be willing to trade you mine, but it has no cats so you’d have to pick up the other one.
You can also weld in a better quality cat to your current pipe. GESI is super good, that would get rid of all of your smell
