I needed one too. A new one from the dealer was circa $1500 when I last needed it. I ended up having to buy a used one...that was cracked. Welded up the cracks. Looks a little ugly and it still holds! But got it for a 1/3 of the price.

Pretty important part to go straight to 2nd hand when purchasing guys. Be cautious of shitty sellers selling their old sketchy ones like assholes do.

If you opt to go new, consider the Bimmerworld oil pan/dipstick kit. Oil level sensors are pretty accurate in our system but pretty cool to have a visual check when you need one. Attached is the link for reference:
