Hey guys I am running dinan rear exhaust with some test pipes ..it sounds pretty decent but missing that loud nasty v8 sound
Will switching to MS x pipe give me that loud deep exotic sound ? If yes, how bad is the smell and drone Plz comment |

If you're talking about the MS x-pipe with only a pair of resonators, then I doubt the secondary cat delete will do much (since you are currently primary cat delete only). Maybe switch your axle-back to something less sound-deadening.
disclaimer: i prefer loud loud.

I agree. The Dinan axle-back is considered more of a gentlemen's muffler in my opinion. If you are looking for a more "exotic" high pitch exhaust note, I would suggest the Meisterschaft SGT or GT Axle back paired with a catless resonated x-pipe. -Dylan |

I had active race xpipe(no cats, two resonators) paired with stock muffler. Wasnt too loud until you put the accelerator to the floor, very nice sound. Smell was bearable in my opinion

I agree about the Dinan rear exhaust, if you want that loud S65 V8 sound you'll need something different. I do like how the Dinan exhaust sounds but if you want loud, Meisterschaft is one way to go. Pretty sure Eisenmann, Gintani, Bomiz are all louder than the Dinan exhaust too, especially with test pipes. I knew I couldn't deal with the smell so I got an afe Power x-pipe with HFC's.

I'm looking at going Dinan rear + RKP Street as Dinan alone seems a little bit quiet. I don't want rasp but more of that Humming sound Also, thanks for the PPI recommendation at HMB. Car is home safe and sound. |

Eisenmann FTW. Do you have a E92 or E90?

When I added my old RKP Street to my MPE v2, I didn't think it made it much louder at all. No problem, HMB is a great shop! |
