F/s 2008 e92 m3 6mt 37k
I have a 2008 M3, 6 speed, sparkling graphite/black Novillo leather, Premium & Technology Packages, carbon leather interior trim, with sunroof for sale. The car was originally sold at United BMW in Atlanta, traded in (or lease turn-in) at United and resold as a CPO car to an electrical engineer in Richmond, VA in April, 2010. I purchased the car in March, 2021, after seeing it listed in the Roundel classified ads. At the time I bought it, I was really looking for another Porsche. Prices on the P-cars were just nuts and and I started looking around for something with similar performance at a more reasonable cost. I wound up buying this car, after driving to Richmond, meeting the owner and inspecting the car. It is one of the nicest used cars I've ever seen. In typical engineer fashion, it was dealer-maintained MUCH better than "by the book" and driven carefully and infrequently. It had 17.8K when he bought it and 35.8K when he sold it to me - about 18K over 11 years. I have all service records scanned and will be glad to provide those to any prospective purchaser. I also have the original window sticker and the CPO documents. The car is priced at what I think is a very reasonable $37,000. I tried to put this in the title but was unable to do so. Particulars on the car are as follows: 1. Paint is virtually perfect. PPF on the front half of the hood, front spoiler, headlights, mirrors and rockers. No door dings or stone chips. One very small paint chip in a very odd place - passenger side door trailing edge, just below the window molding, which has been professionally touched up. Very small "spiderweb" windshield crack in a non-critical area that was professionally repaired rather than replacing the windshield. 2. Interior is perfect. No driver's seat bolster wear. The only thing I've done is vacuum it out and replace the floor mats - still have the originals, which show minimal wear. 3. The car has burned no oil in the time I've owned the car. It runs, drives, shifts and brakes perfectly. Dinan tune by dealer. 4. All service is up to date. I've got a spare oil filter and air filter. The car has an aFe filter now and I thought about replacing it, but have not done so. 5. Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Fronts replaced 1/8/19 @35.2K and rears replaced 4/29/14 @31.6K. 6. And no, the rod bearings and TAs have NOT been replaced. My BMW mechanic (the best I've found in about 35 years of fooling around with these old cars) asked me about the rod bearings when I first told him about buying the car. When I told him the car had 35K, he told me that I shouldn't have to worry about that for a pretty long time. So I haven't. 7. The transmission and flywheel were replaced under warranty at 18.7K due to a bad second gear (PO told me that the dealer told him this was a manufacturing defect that had been identified in a small batch of gear sets). Later, at 22.1K the flywheel was replaced. So the transmission in the car only as about 18K on it. 8. Corsa exhaust, that sounds fabulous. PO offered the original to me, but I declined it. 9. "Gunmetal" 219M wheels with no curb rash. 10. I have a CarFax I ran when I bought the car. Which I will be glad to share. VIN is: WBSWD93568PY39995. I'll take some photos tomorrow and post them up. Let me know if anyone has any interest in this very nice car. I still have a Porsche itch I need to scratch! Last edited by gray635; 11-18-2021 at 09:23 PM.. |

I promised you guys some photos, so here are a few. Taken late this afternoon, just about dark outside, with a crappy point & shoot camera. I'm no photographer. The photos certainly do not do the car justice, but at least it will give some idea of what I've got.
All service/repair records, my CarFax and original window sticker have been scanned and can be emailed to anyone who is interested. Thanks. |

Those are smashed bugs on the front bumper cover - not stone chips. I took the car on the local Porsche chapter's annual "Drive Through the Leaves" in the N. GA/NC mountains this past weekend and haven't had a chance to wash it!

Some interest at this point, but the car is still available. I've done some checking and mine appears to be the nicest, lowest mileage car on the market that is priced in the mid to upper-$30s. So far, it is only listed here on the board for sale. About to expand my marketing to Roundel and AutoTrader. Thanks for looking!
