The forged will be stronger, yes. Once you go forged and no longer have the anxiety of bending wheels, you will be much happier. Plus there is the obvious benefit of less unsprung mass which improves handling!

https://www.apexraceparts.com/support/warranty/

STRUCTURAL WARRANTY:
For wheels purchased after August 12th 2019 - Lifetime limited structural warranty
For wheels purchased before August 13th 2019 - Two year limited structural warranty

Except as specifically set forth below, APEX warrants that its wheels, when properly installed on its intended application, will be free from structural defects in material or workmanship under normal and reasonable use. APEX agrees, without charge, to repair or replace a wheel that fails during this limited warranty period because of defects in material or workmanship.

This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects already present in the wheels from the factory such as machining errors or defective material resulting in a cracked rim or spoke, a centerbore that is out of tolerance, a rim that is out of round, or visual blemish from improper machining.

This limited warranty does not cover any damage arising from the improper fitment for the intended vehicle, mishandling during transit, damage caused by tire mounting equipment, damage during vehicle installation, or otherwise caused by unintended use such as off-roading, going off the paved track surface, contact with other vehicles, impact with potholes, curbs, berms, barriers, objects in the road, or impact with other road and track hazards, or applications that exceed the wheel’s indicated load rating. Rim cracks or bends are not warrantable if there is a clear sign of impact that caused the damage. Warranted wheels are inspected upon receipt and any sign of abuse such as impact damage that could cause a failure would disqualify the claim and the wheel be returned at the customer’s expense.

Purchasers are directed to the APEX Wheel Installation Guidelines supplied with the wheel. Failure to comply with these instructions shall void this warranty.

Upon the purchase of our wheels, the purchaser assumes all costs involved with rebalancing, match mounting, and under car inspection in an effort to exclude all other possible causes of vibration other than one arising from defective wheel manufacture. If an APEX wheel is found to be defective then APEX is only responsible for replacement of it’s own defective item in addition to covering the cost of remounting/balancing associated with the individual unit in question, up to a maximum limit of $50 per wheel claimed. A copy of an official service invoice is required to redeem a credit for expenses incurred. APEX is not responsible for any other costs associated with servicing a warranty such as damage to any other part of a vehicle, event fees, travel costs, or other costs.

We are not responsible for damage caused by improper fitment. It is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure that the wheel purchased for their vehicle will not cause damage to brake calipers, suspension parts, exterior fenders, inner fender liners, brake lines, ducting, fuel lines, or electrical lines. Recommendations from our staff are not a guarantee that fitment will be trouble free. APEX does not guarantee any fitment based on the opinions of its staff, dealer network, or fitment guides. Purchaser understands that there are numerous variables that can affect fitment that are not in APEX’s control such as ride height, tire profile shapes between brands and models, suspension alignment settings, body damage, and other aftermarket parts. Purchaser understands that the installation of wheels may require modification to their vehicle for proper fitment which may include the use of spacers and extended hardware, fender rolling, fender flaring, cutting or trimming liner material, and alignment adjustments. Even with modifications all rubbing may not be completely eliminated and the purchaser accepts occasional rubbing such as rubbing the inner fender liner at full lock to be normal.

Thanks Dparm but I get my wheels second hand so waranty does not apply and 50% off replacement program too.

I will wait on black friday sale to purchase new Forged wheels. In Canada the race season finish in september so I will race on my bent wheels for next 2 coming events.

I just want to know the best options to get strong wheels. I think Titan7 also make good forged wheels but I like Apex for their presence for the Bmw community.

Titan 7 and Apex forged are pretty similar in terms of price and quality -- IMO. I'd just get whichever you prefer from a styling perspective, but...

For comparison purposes, the Titan 7 T-S5 weighs 18.6 pounds and the Apex ARC-8 is 20.3 pounds. This is for 18x10 ET25. 1.7 pounds of unsprung weight is not insignificant. The EC-7R is 20.8 pounds.

The Titan7 guys are great to work with, and have come out to the track several times when I've been there just to hang out/bring lunch/support their products. They're always asking about what fitment isn't out there that they can help to fill. I ended up selling off all my cast apex's and replacing them with a couple sets of T7's. No surprise, the T7 forged wheels are much stronger than the cast Apex's. I'm sure the forged Apex's are much stronger too, but the customer service and attitude I got from T7 will keep me buying from them.

Yeah, the Titan 7 guys are cool and very customer focused. They have come to some events in Texas too.

I also sold all my Apex cast wheels and replaced for a mix of Bimmerworld TA5R (cast) and TEAL16 (forged). For the E9X the TEAL16 10.5 fit great, but there is no 10.5 fitment for the F8X, which is why I have TA5Rs for the F80 CS.

Apex had first comer advantage to the M track world but didn't read the tea leaves and allowed both Bimmerworld and Titan to release a forged wheel first.

I would not hesitate to run the Titan wheels, but no more Apex for me

If Titan would've hurried up and released a 11", I'd get another set.

But had to settle on Apex EC7 for a square set of 11"s. I'll have to be more cognizant of which berms I can hit going forward.

It's nice to have affordable options!

On the Apex topic, I switched from the flow-formed EC-7 to forged ARC-8R. The forged wheels have been good to me I like the fact that they're the right fit for me - 18x10.5 ET22 square

Before long we'll have more 11" options on the market, full forged

I guess you could look at BBS, Forgeline, Finspeed, etc. if you want a true 18x11 forged setup with the proper offsets. Be prepared to spend $1000+/wheel though.

Edit: I just realized how off topic my response is. I have no insights on APEX forged line haha I know a couple folks in our team run it on the track, as far as I know there aren't any issues to report.

+1 for Titan7

I've now owned 5 sets of APEX between my M3 and Subaru. In my limited communications with T7, you definitely get that small-business, friendly customer service. APEX, while I don't have any actual complaints about them, I feel like their love for the BMW chassis has been pushed to the side and their focus has spread thin amongst the other newer chassis. I've tracked the hell out of my ARC8 set and 1 of them bent pretty badly, actually cracked when trying to bend it back. Welded the crack, and rounded the wheel back out and no issues so far this season

I've got a set of T-R10's inbound and will be running those exclusively on the track. I do wish T7 offered wider/aggressive sizes, in our case 11's. In my team we needed to go wider for our Cayman and Camaro folks too. 10.5s will do for now!
