S65 Powder Coated Red Valve covers

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Location:
✓ Will Ship

Item Interest
up for sale is a set of refinished s65 valve covers done in powder coated red crinkle. These have been professionally done and are guaranteed to be warp free and ready for install. Due to prices on the second hand market going up my cost on these covers have also gone up. So price is set firm and shipping is extra. I do get a huge discount on shipping though Fedex though my job and will ship 2 day inside the US. Roughly $40. I did just ship a set to Australia for $164 and got to the customer in 5 days.

If red is not your color I have 2 more sets I will be refinishing in the coming weeks and if you are looking for a certain color feel free to PM me. I am a pilot by trade but have been powder coating for years and use a good friends shop to do all work in. I enjoy the process and love passing along a good deal. Still $400 cheaper than IND and they no longer sell them due to lack to supply.

Any questions at all feel free to ask, thank you!

Would you consider doing a sale with a core charge?

The issue with accepting a core is these have come back warped in the past. It becomes a he said she said issue when the buyer has already expected to get a refund for his core. Then shipping back cost more money. I just don't want the head ache. I buy from a single supplier and pay a premium fee for the valve covers I powder coat. In fact my price just went up another $150 per set due to the second hand market prices also on the rise as we are seeing in the used car for sale thread.

I don't kill it on these and enjoy the work. The side money made helps pay for more car parts. I fought the rise in price but it was what it was.

It's still $400 cheaper than IND when they were offering the same service for referb valve covers. IND quit offering this service due to lack of supply. It getting harder and harder to find low mileage, never pulled from factory install, not warped, and under 50k miles. Some of the things I ask of my supplier

I have to make sure the customer is getting a quality product. Because if they plan on doing an install the same day they don't deal with costly issues caused by a defective valve cover.

Sorry
