13’ E92 M3 Comp
So I’ve been going back and forth on and off the fence about selling the ol’ girl and now I guess the time has come. It’s a great car but I just don’t have the interest in cars anymore and she sits around most of the time now. Needs to go to a new home with someone who will enjoy the car. 2013 M3 Comp pack, 48k miles, DCT, Fox Red interior. I bought the car about 3yrs ago from Ciocca Chevy in Quakertown PA. They bought the car for a customer who was looking for one but ended up backing out of the deal. I’ve been a BMW Technician for 15yrs. The car has been well maintained. Never had one issue with the car during the time I owned it. Price wise, well I was offered $43k for her a month or so ago. I turned it down not cause it wasn’t a fair offer but because I just wasn’t ready to sell her. I don’t seem to get notifications on DM’s here so email me please. davewsmith2 at Comcast.net. |

Not trying to start an argument here but some of you guys are nuts with the rod bearings. I’ve been a tech for 15yrs and have seen zero M cars with rod bearing issues. I’ve owned 4 E39 M5’s, an E60 M5, and 2 E92 M3’s and had zero issues with any of them

Whether rod bearings being done or not is all subjective to each buyer but it will save you time and effort by having this information up front instead of sending dozens of messages. GLWS - Mineral White / Comp / Extended-Red is a beautiful spec. |

OP - these are the common questions that will be asked regardless of what your opinion about RB. This will help potential buyer to calculate offer that makes sense to them. Specially if they have to account for shipping, sales tax and potential preventative maintenance items. Regardless you have a beautiful car and should sell quick! GLWS. |

When you say you've had "zero" issues with any of those M cars you've owned are you talking about the Rod bearings in each of those cars specifically? Or are you saying you've never had any issue whatsoever with any of the cars such as leaks, faulty mechanics, etc? If so you must be some type of god

he's giving you a very outline of what the potential buyers will be asking since he already has gone through the whole process while selling his car. all those questions will be asked from all serious buyers so might as well add that information so it will filter out some unwanted buyers from contacting you and wasting your time. or you can go to BaT and auction your car? Must be an east coast thing to list a car but no price. However, let's list the price I turned down.
Go to eBay or Bat and start an auction. It's not that you want to sell the car or not. You've read that the market is hot for used cars cause the news are telling you it is. I don't know anyone who is in a rush to buy a car after a year and a half of Covid. If anything people don't want to spend. Specially overpaying cause some a-hole came on tv and said so. It's probably the same a-hole who said Porsche 911 R, is the last manual Porsche. Owners like you sat on it and turned down offers 4x the price of the car. Look where they are now. Good luck getting what it retailed for. Your loose approach to questions on bearings and maintenance speaks for itself. GLWS |

You should have taken the $43,000.00, when offered.
