BedPlate Change out

Hi All,

I've stripped my engine due to a bearing failure and unfortunately I've also had a thrust bearings failure and so I either need a block & bedplate OR just a bedplate?

Anyone with insights into this as I would ordinarily think that it should be as straight forward as changing out the bedplate but might be wrong and any insight would be appreciated.
