Throttle/rev hang when letting off throttle?

Hey guys,

Started driving a m3 again, and noticed when on the highway if I let off the throttle, there is a partial moment where the car “keeps going” and then the car starts to deaccelerate. It’s almost like rev hang. Noticed it the first time last week when I was behind a car on the freeway and I let off the throttle to start slowing down and the car was still going until something felt like it “caught” and the car started deaccelerating. Normal or?

Throttle actuator gear has a damaged tooth and is starting to hang.

Was thinking the same but should generate code and shortly after limp mode?

Yea, I don’t have a code or anything and it’s not going into limp mode.

Tried searching, but haven’t found to many people with the same issue.

My car did this right before I started getting limp mode and throttle actuator codes. Replaced both throttle actuators and haven't had a problem since.
