I know this has been discussed from time to time and I have searched this topic on the forum but most of the conversations on the topic are years old.

So before I purchase 275/30/19 (Pilot Sport 4s) - I wanted to confirm they will fit on a square setup of 359 (10x19 ET25) without rubbing.

I've seen some mentioned this setup will work fine on a e90 but just wanted a little confirmation before I pull the trigger. I had Discount Tire refusing to order/mount these tires for me without a "test fit" which logistically would just be a PITA to deal with.... so prob taking business elsewhere.

I am running 275/30R19 front PSS and 275/35R19 rear PSS on squared 19x10 359M wheels and stock suspension no problem. Took it to the track as well already and all is good.

Not an exact match due to my larger rear tire with what you are looking for but yes you should be fine.

Works great on ZCP with ET 25 front and ET 13 rear (spacers). ET 19 on the front would be fine.

Curious - why did you go with 275/35R19 in the rear?

Since Im not lowered - part of my wonders if the gap would be too large with the 30 sidewall.

I bought the M3 as it currently sits. Maybe when I replace them I'll go to a 285/30 or 295/30 in the rear if space allows.

I also just ordered H&R Springs so I'm curious to see how it'll look then.

I made the jump to this setup on my lowered car last year, other than the slightly thinner sidewall which I dont quite like, functionally everything works great, particularly at the front. Nothing u should worry about.

Attaching a pic below for your reference hoping the resolution size works out

Not super thrilled with lower side wall either, but 275/35 won't work up front from what I've read ... so I guess I would need to go with a more narrow tire all around to stay with the 35 side wall...

I'm on KW DDC, which is essentially the V3 springs, the progressive type. not slammed, there's still a finger or two gap that remains all around

Same PS4S size you quoted. I think the front wheel just barely clears the front springs or the perch at the widest point. no real drivability issues as far as I can tell.

Actually tried running 265/35/19 all around first by fitting the rear to the front, but with my lowered ride height I was unable to make full turn, there was major blockage/rubbing, so I settled on going 275/30 square.

Not sure how a few years in passing on this topic would change their application - have the laws of physics changed recently?

Lot of different setups (cars lowered, spacers, etc) and I had discount tire pushing back on fitment so wanted some confirmation before I made a decision.

Never understood the point of comments like yours when someone is asking in good faith.

At first you'll think it looks funny especially if you do a ride height with a slightly higher front, like gts spec. I also run a 12mm rear spacer with my square set up. But you'll adjust and enjoy it.

Never understood the point of comments like yours when someone is asking in good faith.

If you searched and used some logic you wouldn't have to ask for confirmation, the first reply can easily be found in search and shows clearly that 19x10 275/30/19 works without rubbing on a lowered car.

Time doesn't change that, asking again doesn't change that.

Discount tire goes by the book because of liability, so they aren't going to endorse anything that doesn't show in their system.

Sometimes you just need some common sense. But that seems rare these days.

Yea, I'm worried I won't like the lower sidewall/increased gap as I'm not lowered at this point.

I debated just doing 265/35 square setup but when I tried it earlier with my 220s I was getting a slight rub up front.

I guess I might have have committed myself to a 30 sidewall (already bought the 359s) and will just have to put on some lowering springs if I don't like the gap.

To those who don't like this thread - you can always ignore it. That takes far less energy than trying to call out someone out who doesn't care what you think in the slightest.

So the 275/30 will be about 20mm shorter than a 265/35. If you carry in loose wheels to the tire guys too they won't trip over application. I prefer this method with the M3 anyways just so they don't over-torque them when they put them back on.

That was always the plan - I should have just told them I was going to put them back on the rear of 2 separate M3s.

They were never going to see my car, just want them to mount the tires. Thanks again.

Correct, stock height currently until I put the H&R springs on.

I know it's been a while since you've posted on here but I wanted to ask you if the car feels significantly more harsh with the thinner sidewall. I'm going to run the square setup with the 359s and originally wanted to go 265/35/19 but it's looking like that's not going to work and I'll have to go with the 275/30/19. Any feedback is valuable thank you!
