BMW iX Design Review By Original X5 Designer Frank Stephenson

Car designer Frank Stephenson reviewed the design of the new iX. As expected, he takes issue with the front grille, but he also isn't a fan of the absence of lines in the side profile (calls it static).

He feels the vehicle design has lost its soul.

Frank does praise the design of the i3 and i8.

I think he summed it up well. The exterior is very appliance like. The target market doesn't really care and it saves BMW a little coin in manufacturing.
