Help !Supercharger belt Misaligned ? Or maybe belt belt tensioner ?

Hey All ! finally back into a e92 M3 and this one has a ESS 650 kit on it

The issue I just rant into is it seems to be shredding the belt (pictures below).

It seemed when it was running to be on the idler pully on the edge of it and eventually just slipped to the edge of the Alternator. Just curious if maybe somthing isnt lined up correctly or not enough tension on the belt itself.

Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks !

could be a number of things, the idler in the circuit before the alternator could have some play in the bearing causing it to tilt and ride off the alternator pulley.

Thanks, ill have to pull the belt off and see if it has play in it. The kit does have 8k on it now, was thinking of just doing the belt and ordering a new Tensioner but might as well get the idler too

Well if it is a true 650 kit, it should have a 7 rib belt kit, bigger crank, alternator and same size water pump. If they just down size the supercharger pulley, it could be machined offset wrong.
