Valve springs while doing rod bearings??
Would you recommend upgrading the valve springs while doing the rod bearings?
To anyone who installed BE bearings, did you also upgrade to their valve springs?? |

It would be at least tripling the labor bill and as noted above, none of the labor has anything to do with rod bearing labor. Rod bearings require pulling the oil pan from the bottom of the engine; valve springs require pulling the camshafts from the top of the engine.

Might as well do cams if you are in there.
Nothing overlaps with rod bearings, except maybe opening the hood. |
