Secondary Air Valve
My car is throwing a fault code for a bad Secondary Air Valve (passenger side). I feel like replacing this thing is going to be a
... Wondering if it might just be easier to code it out? Is this even possible? I live in PA and I can pass inspections with one sensor "not ready," but will fail with the "SES" light. |

To code it out you need a tune or you can download your DME bin file and modify with the ECUWorx app. The latter is obviously cheaper, but riskier if you aren't tech savy.

A stick valve in the secondary air pump can cause poor mpg, no?
Coding it out will bypass it completely so mpg is not affected? |
