ess xpipe instation question
hey guys, so i finally got to installing my ess xpipe and noticed that there's no way to attach the middle brace. is this how it's supposed to be??? I'm guessing that the piping configuration doesn't allow it but if someone can confirm, that would be great...

It doesnt have the tabs to attach to the tunnel brace, this was why I got rid of mine. My pipe would rattle against the brace. I installed the brace with washers to move it away but I'm anal and wasn't happy with the solution although it worked.
Some just run without the brace, again this bothered me so came up with the washer idea. Too bad ESS made such a well made piece but didnt put in a little extra effort to provide the mounting tabs. ![]() |

You'll have to use washers and longer bolts to lower the brace from the OEM position.
