WANTED - set of standard OEM coil springs for E90 M3
Hi guys,
Got a RWC issue. My springs are too low according to the guys at vicroads. Need to get my hands on a standard set of springs for front and rear. If you have a set sitting around - please let me know. Ideally be somewhere in VIC, but might consider collection elsewhere depending on the cost. cheers, Shanan |

Thanks for the offer.
I ended up sorting this via the M sport group on facebook. A fella in Sydney is kindly sending me some E90 non EDC springs. I did some reading and was hard to clarify 100% if the E92 springs are the same as the E90 springs. From what I can tell, I think they are different spring rates?? The springs are interchangeable from what I can find out, but I think the springs maybe slightly softer or harder depending on the model. Mine has EDC and I am not quite sure what the diff is between non-EDC and EDC springs on the E90? Does anyone know?? I have read through some forums and apparently BMW do not have part numbers for the springs. I scrolled through pictures and noticed the springs are labelled though. M3 X2, M3 X3 and so on. I think the X2 and X3 are references for the spring rate, but not 100%. Someone here prob knows more than me. Hopefully there is no huge difference between E90 EDC and NON-EDC spring rates though. Will see. |

I know it's off topic, but what is the m sport group name? I just tried searching for it and can't seem to locate it! I would love to find an easier way to talk with other M3 owners in Sydney via WhatsApp or something... |
