Anyone tried ARK DT-S exhaust?
My best friend has an ARK DT-S exhaust on his ‘91 Acura NSX and it sounds amazing. One of the best exhausts I’ve heard, my opinion of course.
![]() I have a Dinan race pipe and Dinan exhaust on my ‘09 M3 with Dinan intake, pulley and Dinan tune. I like my exhaust buy am seriously considering selling it for the ARK. Was wondering if anyone has had it and what their thoughts were on it for the M3. I know it won’t sound exactly the same as his but the very few videos I can find with it on the E92 it sounds pretty darn close. |

Ark does make an exhaust for the E92 M3..
https://www.velocityfactor.net/2008-...xhaust-system/ https://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/ark...150800695.html Among other places to get it... and the vids I’ve heard sound pretty close. Was hoping someone with personal experience might have some valuable info..Mate |

ARK makes some great products imo and seems like it has a fairly distinct sound compared to others. It probably isn't too popular on this platform given all the other exhausts available in that price range such as akra slip on in the used market or Meisterschaft if new.
For the price though it's not bad considering it's a header back with xpipe and all but it seems like the mufflers will only work with that xpipe and vice versa. |

Here’s a couple links to YouTube videos.
I can tell you in person on his NSX it sounds awesome. And I know it won’t sound the same on our V8 front engine but it’s a great sound. Not too loud but for normal driving, but great when you get on it. |

Super bump. I’m trying to learn more about this system. Does it have 2 cats and 2 resonators, or is it quad resonators?
It’s called a cat-back system.... so I wonder if it bolts up to the primary cats??? Last edited by gilberjj; 08-12-2020 at 08:05 PM.. |

The system in that picture must replace everything up to the headers - it has a set of cats in the primary location and what looks like a set back close to where the stock secondaries are, resonators usually don't have the cone-shaped inlet/outlet but they could be
