Rebadging with a bigger badge

Ok, so I plan on taking off the small M3 badge off of the back and replacing it with this bigger and longer ///M badge (without the 3) that i recently bought
the question is, who should I give it to to replace?
BMW? will they take like 5 days to do it and charge me 100 dollars for the labor?
should I just do it myself??
any comment would be great

do it yourself. doesnt take much to do it. I got one of the larger Ms badge too from ebay. Its similar to the e46 M3 size. I thought about it, and decided to keep it stock.

But surely, its easy. I would tape a masking tape at the lower edge of the OEM badge first, before I take it out. Then use a dental floss to pry out the existing, once remove, you would have the masking tape for alignment.

take photos of before and after. I'd like to see it, maybe at BMFeast too since Im coming with the Mid-Atlantic crew

Why aren't people happy with the car just the way it is stock??
I guess I am a 'boring' guy, but I just was never into customizing cars, bikes, etc... I'd rather buy another car when I will have saved again money, than to buy after markets, etc... but again, nothing wrong with personalizing if it makes you happy!

no problem...

the other thing I was considering was a badge at the lower bumper scoop like I did my e46 M3. But our e92 access to the same grille is not accessible unlike the e46 M3 where I can squeeze my hand between the radiator fan.

check it out

exactly laszlo. the old badge is just too big for the current boot.

old "big" badge = 640 x 480

new "streamlined" badge = 1920 x 1080

smaller is better in everything but dick size.

but its not a matter of size, but how you use it. just remember dynamite comes in small packages.
