How repairable is this?
Hi. So am looking at an M3 (purchasing out of state) and got these pics from the seller, with regards to door dings/scratches.
What's your opinion on how repairable these are. The first one looks like a pretty big gouge and broke not only the clear coat but paint layer as well...and the fact that it sits on the crease. Other ones look like standard scratches that hopefully can be compounded out. Wanted to get the opinion of folks before proceeding further. Thx. P.S. Ignore the Subaru key, I think the seller was trying to show the relative size of the dents. |

Not sure on the paint. the first one looks deep but I'm sure fixable... but you should definitely ask how old the clear bra is that I think I see on there.... if it's old (5 years or more)... beware, because it's a total bitch to get off.

If you take your time with the touch-up paint, and prep properly, those could be greatly minimized. It's virtually impossible to find a car with flawless paint unless it's never been driven.
