Do Not Buy From Kelly Motorcars, Llc
After months of trying to get Ryan Kelly to help pay for the damage to my car that may have happened during delivery I have received nothing.
They supposedly used SG Paint Worx to paint my hood, front and rear bumper. When I took delivery June 15th it came with major paint chips on the front bumper, cracks, peeling and other damage throughout the whole car. I’ve taken my car to three independent auto body shops, they have all concluded that the front bumper cover is cracking from a foreign contamination embedded directly into the surface of the clear coat. With no other option than replacement to guarantee fixing it properly. To this day Ryan Kelly and his brother Matthew who own Kelly Motorcars, LLC together, haven’t been willing to help me other than offering me a $400 refund after months of them dismissing any issues, which quite frankly won’t even pay for the supplies to fix my car. I wanted a full refund for the money he supposedly spent on paint and paint correction, with additional help to fix the rest of the car. I don’t think it’s fair that I have to spend additional money to fix my car that I was lead to believe as being perfect. Unfortunately the state of Pennsylvania does not have any consumer protection laws for buying used cars. It doesn’t seem I have much, if any, recourse with Kelly Motorcars and therefore I cannot recommend Kelly Motorcars, LLC. It’s extremely disturbing that they feel it’s okay to mislead consumers and furthermore lie to pad their pockets. I put my faith and trust in buying my dream car from Ryan at Kelly Motorcars, LLC. I suggest you stay away from them and any used car dealership in Pennsylvania just to be safe. I have text messages and pictures to back up the issues I’ve laid out here. If anyone has had a similar experience or needs help with buying a used car please feel free to contact me. Also, if you think you can offer me any assistance with my experience, please feel free to reach out directly via email at bfrankm3@gmail.com |

Sorry to hear about your experience.
Make sure to leave a scathing Google and FB Reviews. That's really where it'll hurt the most.

Man, so they did paint the bumper just did a shitty job?! I've been working with you since the beginning and it sucks to see this outcome!!!
I'd write his local paper and news outlets and see if you can get a story going. Maybe a few others in your situation as well can join. That'll hurt them much worse than reviews

All honesty, creating FB and IG and TW accounts won't do anything. Really, contact the local news station and let them run a cover on it. If they pick it (not sure how they choose). Hurting their local area is better than 1 in 10,000 chance of other people buying from them nationally. GL. |

Help me understand.. did you buy a car on the Internet and it came this way? Obviously there's a lot of shoddy repair work done on the paint. Looks like to me the car maybe got peppered by a passing truck and they tried to repair it.

Local news will just remind the locals of what they already know... don't buy cars from the place that has no cars on the lot.

After reviewing all the photos I received from Ryan Kelly I decided I try my luck with the shipping company's insurance. No dice! I just got off the phone with them. They have photographs of the car from the driver that showed the damage. Bottom line is that Ryan signed the bill of lading acknowledging the damage prior to shipping.

I would recommend looking into filing a better business bureau claim as well as filing a complaint with the Attorney General of Pennsylvania. I'd take the car to a certified BMW body shop to ensure it would be done right. Too many body shops don't adhere to BMW's standards and you'd be wise to stay clear of them. An expensive lesson to learn but you'll be wiser.

I happened to click on this link because Kelly Motorcars sounded familiar. I am sorry you are having to go through this. After reading your story I realized this is the dealer with multiple M3s priced way too high. For that reason alone, I've never reached out to them even though I live in PA.
I wish you the best of luck!
