Installing new x pipe

Is replacing the header to pipe gasket ring a common thing to replace when installing a new x pipe ? I'm swapping x pipes tomorrow and forgot to pick up two new gaskets at BMW. Think an auto parts store carry them?

Auto parts stores wont carry them.

Replacing them during the swap is a case by case basis. if you remove your factory x pipe and they are in good shape just reuse them.

you could always reuse them and add a bit of exhaust/tailpipe sealer from what I've heard. I could be wrong though.
