Buzzing Near Driver Door

Under the hood, where drivers door meets the hood in wheel well area, is a buzzing noise at startup that also will come on intermittently. Although I’ve heard it before, it stays on longer than usual. It’s as if something is initializing.

Not sure if this is related, but car has gone into limp mode last two consecutive mornings. Shutting car done for a few seconds has alleviated that.

Thoughts on what the noise is?

I used to but replaced with coil overs last year.

Doing a track day, so timing couldn’t be worse. Anyway,someone here checked codes and said the vacuum pump.

There’s a brake booster vacuum pump back there, it runs for about 4-5 seconds sometimes when starting the car

Mine is doing the same thing. I had my brake fluid flushed at a very reputable independent shop and it’s buzzing left and right and threw it into limp mode. I live 50 min from the dealer so wondering if I’ll make it there or not.
