Spirited driving temps

Quick question for y'all. Living in LA I rarely get to wind out the v8, but I just got back to my smaller city and hit the canyons. After about 5 minutes of constant redline shifts, going between 2/3 keeping the revs high, I was nearing the 3rd dot on the temp gauge, between 210 and the max reading. Is that normal? It's about 75 out. Just want to make sure not pushing the car too hard.

when driving my DCT e90m3 near the limit, the temp sits just past the 210 mark.

on-track in 90 degree temps, my manual will run about or just over the 3rd hash (I think that's 255 or ? around there degrees) after a few laps, and not really get significantly warmer than that.

not sure how you're finding enough open road to do that on the street, but that's not an unreasonable oil temp if you're using a non-junk oil. if you're not going into a reduced performance mode, you're alright.

Quite a bit of hard driving with high revs through the Dragon a couple days ago resulted pretty steady at 210ish (maybe a smidge over).
