Tempted to purchase this e92

Was still bouncing the idea of getting one. I was going to wait once we closed in on the house. We just purchased one and it won't be completed by the end of the year. I was going to sell my e92 and pick up an e9x M. However, I was thinking about talking this guy down and seeing if I could scoop it up for around $14k. Wish it just had CF roof.

Id stay away from salvage titles, just my 2c.

I would also stay away from an S65 with already bad rod bearings...you may discover that more than just the rod bearings need to be replaced or that the engine is damaged beyond repair. You pay $14k for the car but worst case need to install a new refurbished engine....you might as well get a $25k-$30k M3 at that point.

And, no I did not purchase that Dakar Yellow e90. It wasn't in the best of shape with that price tag.

I'd be leery about that car too--it might be worth it if it had a clean title, but as it sits, it's basically a very nice parts car.
