Secondary O2 sensor delete
Hello Everyone,
I need to use one of the secondary O2 sensors to connect an AFR gauge (need to install a Wideband O2 sensor there). Is it possible to "delete" that sensor so I don't have the "emissions malfunction" thing? I have an Akra Evo with Delete-R, if that matters, but disconnecting one of those sensor gives me the error. Thank you. |

I am assuming you just need the exhaust bung and not the electronic connector. Wouldn't leaving thr original sensor ziptied in place eliminate the disconnect error and the Delete R would cancel the out-of-range reading error?

Delete-R cannot handle the ziptied O2 sensors; still have the error every so often for whatever reason. It does work well with the sensors plugged though.
Is coding an option? |

Add a bung. $5 part plus a little time and welding. Some company just came out with an add a bung no welding but you would still have to drill the hole. I forget the company.

Rather not going that route; I don't know any good welder in my area, so I'd have to ship that exhaust tube to Dallas where I have a friend who is a really good welder and excellent at titanium. It looks like a tune is the way to go. I thank you for the input though.
