E90 m3 misfire issue

hello from istanbul turkey ,

i'm new to forum and i've got 2010 e90 m3 56k miles



i recently changed the rod bearings like 500 miles ago

The car has ipe valvetronic with xpipe

i'm having an issue and i couldn't figure it out neither my local services and dealer

the issue is the car shows engine light like when i'm going slow and mostly going down from a hill like 1900 rpm 10-15 km/h .

if i shut down the car and restart it the engine light is not there anymore

the engine faults i've got is

2b35 misfire cylinder 1
2b36 misfire cylinder 2
2b37 misfire cylinder 3
2b38 misfire cylinder 4
2b41 misfire several cylinders

i've changed the plugs with news because first we thought i'm having the issue because of it but i had the engine light again

Then, we changed the places of coils 1-4 to 5-8 but i still have the same engine faults 1 to 4 misfire

last thing we did we changed the places of forgive me i don't know the name the mechanism which is open and closes the throttles but again i had the same fault.

i searched internet and this forum i couldnt find an answer

btw mostly the car having this engine fault at colder weather like below 3 degrees

is there anyone can help me about this please because i'm going to be crazy about it

Probably the throttle actuator in that bank or something with the idle control strips on that side. Could also be an oxygen sensor for that bank. Switch the pre cat oxygen sensor from one side to the other and see if the fault moves to the other bank.

Having the same issue with my e90 M3 getting the same errors below. Was thinking it was related to my ignition coil because cyclinder one had a coil with the top broken off replaced it but still got the errors. I’m thinking it’s the O2 sensor upstream one. Going to replace this soon and report back if that was the issue.

One full bank misfires are usually exhaust related. Check your exhaust donut gasket.

I have the same problem only on low trottle but with interval of 300km 400km.
When i off the car and all is okey after 300km 400km come again and evrytime same cylinders .
In my case are 4 5 6 7 8 cylinders.I think maybe is exhaust gasket.
