Can anyone chime in as to why Dinan Software is so cheap compared to other tuners?
Is it just GTS tunes?

Wow. 120 bucks for a GTS tune is a stupid good deal.

Any thoughts on the engine tune software? I'd never really considered it, but its so cheap now, 280 bucks...

Normally it isn't, but it's 50% off right now. I believe it's just the E chassis cars.

Transmission and engine software both on sale, though the GTS and Dinan's DCT tune might be slightly different?

You will get better power from a BPM tune. Mike also has amazing support. But, I'm jumping on this for my e36.

Does anyone know when this expires?

As stated above....it's on sale. Dinan is almost never viewed as cheap in the BMW community, quite the opposite actually. Once in awhile they have a sale, sometimes it's 10%, 20%...this time they happen to be offering 50% off. It probably won't last long, then it won't seem 'cheap'

But is the 50% sale only for a basic map upgrade or would it also apply for stage 2 tunes as well? Can't find much info in regards to this on the website 🤔

Just did mine at Europeanautosource. Car feels more responsive and slightly more powerful in lower RPM's. (E92) Was worth the $270.00.

Wow this could be my first real mod. Can't really go wrong with that price. My car is stock with a fresh suspension and rod bearings.

Does it raise the rpm limit?

Is it based on 240E factory software or is this an old tune based on early software?

agreed. getting the DCT tune for sure.

Anyone have the dinan engine tune? I know it doesn't yield that much HP but for 280 bucks I'd imagine its worth it (yes I know I can get more Hp from Mike, this will be a temporary tune until I get my RB's switched out
