WTB: Space Gray & Red Interior E90
I am in search for a low milage 2009+ e90 M3 (or LCI 08). My budget is 30k-40k for a meticulously maintained car with documents to support. I really want the space gray with red interior combination. Due to my job, I need the most conservative exterior color which is why I want the gray but want a fun interior. I have seen the red fox interior in person and it does the trick: not as bright as the pictures suggested and it's more of brownish red. I want the car as fully loaded as possible and as stock as possible; I prefer the 19 inch stock wheels. I got a one year old girl so thinking sedan is more practical specially since will hopefully have another child in the next couple years. Otherwise I might have bought an e46 M, which I had been searching for for the past 6 months (owned an 06 Vert before and had it for about a year and had to sell - the one that got away I haven't decided on whether I'm getting 6MT or DCT yet. I have driven both and though I love traditional manuals, I loved driving the DCT. And I wasn't as impressed with the 6MT, felt jerky and a bit old, unlike my now sold 03 Boxster S which I loved in 6 speed. But I figured it will just some getting used to as I have been driving an automatic Q50 for 2 years. I'll be driving in the city 90% of the time so the convenience of DCT could be helpful but I'm a bit worried re possible failures or replacement cost in the future, so leaning towards 6MT but would consider both. Summary: I haven't seen many e90s SpaceGray/Reds for sale lately, but I'm hopeful to find the car I want. Of course, in the used car buying world, most things are flexible, but for now here are my needs: Must Haves: e90 M3, Red Interior, Technology Package, Heated Seats, Bluetooth connectivity, EDC, and 40-60k milage. Flexible Haves: Space gray exterior or Black exterior, Premium Package, DCT, Oem 19 inch Wheel, Rear Parking Sensor, and Sunroof. I am in no rush to buy yet, but hoping to buy this winter. Let the games begin!!!! Last edited by cvstar9M3; 11-30-2016 at 10:05 AM.. Reason: missing details |

Bump... is there really no space gray e90 M3 for sale anywhere? I have looked on every site imaginable (autotrader.com, cars.com, carsforsale.com, cargurus, and even carmax... and of course craigslist). Is it because of the specs I listed....i'm ready to forego the red interior already lol... I'd consider black but hoping not too deal with cleaning specially since car will be parked outside and gray is the most plane jane color, which fits my situation...by the way, also learning DCT now. any suggestions?

35k is just touching the lowest price for this setup and specs. I just bought mine after months of searching.

Price isn't my main concern right now to be honest. I simply can't find a car period . Where did you find yours? What year and price if you don't mind me asking. Any suggestions for me?

Setup daily notifications and constantly checked: CARS.com Autotrader Carmax M3post M3forum Bimmerpost 6speedonline Craigslist Etc. I ended up with a perfect 2011 Space Grey Slicktop DCT Competition Package E90 M3 with Fox Red Interior. 52k miles. Paid right between 35-40k. Only suggestion is to keep searching and it'll eventually pop up. I see a couple SG E90 M3's on Autotrader right now, but specifically Fox Red Interior is going to be most difficult to find.

By the way, I've decided I wouldn't mind black either. So I'm eyeing this now: http://m.autotrader.com/cars-for-sal...ngId=436702909. Thoughts? Not impressed by lack of service reports on the car fax. I'll check it out though. Last edited by cvstar9M3; 11-19-2016 at 06:23 PM.. Reason: Typo |

A buddy of mine looked at that black one not too long ago and decided against base on their online reviews. Been sitting for a while.

I can see why their reviews would suck based on the one Convo I had w them 5 mins ago. Customer service is not their thing. But I noticed ok the car fax that the car was sold as cpo not too long ago with 37k miles so BMW must have made sure maintaince was done properly. Did your firing actually got see the car if so? Can you ask him his thoughts on it?
