Engine Hesitate 7,200 Rpm
Hello guy, late weekend during the 1/2 roll race,I realize an engine hesitate about 7,200 just after shift 4 gear, after secs a car pull forward again.
Car has 7.400 miles Sparks OEM(never change) Engine VT2-625 6,5 PSI Fuel 95 AKI+NF Race Octane Booster. Questions 1-could be a spark malfunction(pre ignition)? 2-could be a coil malfunction ? 3-Lets suppose it could cause by spark failure,HOW ABOUT THO CHANGE the SPARKS for a colder like HKS-M45HL ? |

i'm not familiar with the octane booster but it could have fouled your O2s. do you have the stock cats/xpipe?

For ESS 625 or 650 the best thing is stock plugs and run 93 octane minimum with less than e25 and it will be perfectly reliable and make the most power this way.
Octane boosters can foul our ion sensitive plugs fairly quickly - although one can of that stuff alone is unlikely to cause this type of issue. Also, too high of octane can cause the car to run slower/less power than simply good 93.

You would probably throw a code eventually with a bad o2. I'm guessing it's the plugs or a coil pack. I had 1 coil pack go out and I lost some power but it never threw a code. Only use the correct OEM NGK spark plugs.
