Harrop TVS1740 Supercharger
Hi all, Im in the middle of purchasing a secondhand charger for my car, I was looking for opinions of drivability once installed. Take into consideration I drive my car like a girl and it very rarely leaves the city.

Get Davee to record his car's S/C whine and play it though your stereo on loop.

I have to sort of agree. I see a lot of guys buy cars engineered for a purpose and they don't take advantage of that. And then they go and spend more money and still don't take advantage.
If you want power, there are plenty of cars that out muscle ours in a straight line. C63 is one of those. You need to ask yourself why did you buy an M3. I hope the answer wasn't to look cool while driving to the park to take photo's of the car standing still. |

But for the money there's nothing else around as good and if you come from a big block V8 and a commodore just won't do or a new Merc is too expensive or looks too much like your grandma might drive the E9x is a great weapon of choice but certainly lacks in the power stakes. Having driven a SC car now for 2 years plus I have to say it becomes the norm and the extra gains seem totally natural. What's embarrassing though is the soon to be released Audi RS3 or the Merc A45 will blow any of us away at the lights Fitting the SC is like replacing the motor with a 6 litre motor only much sweeter |

That said, the best mod to any car is tuning the nut attached to the steering wheel. Driver training and experience is worth alot more than any other mod on the market. |
