Best x-pipe + muffler setup?

While researching rear only options, I love the e-race sound. However I want little to no drone. I had an e-race on my 08 M6 but had to take it off due to drone and the cold start noise. I went to a supersprint x-pipe + tubi sport muffler which was perfect - zero drone but very high pitched.

I currently have the MPE on my car, but its just too quiet for me.

1. Will an x-pipe plus sport muffler be as loud as an e-race but no drone? I think I'm going to pickup an e-race to try it out. Worse case I sell it.

2. I've seen mixed opinion on x-pipe with MPE. Can anybody confirm an x-pipe on MPE would not rasp and sound good?

I miss the loud / high pitch of the M6. Thanks.
