OEM exhaust mod or M performance exhaust
Hey guys,
I need some help. I have the oem exhaust mod(Straight through method) right now and I've just been offered an M-performance exhaust for $1200. Should I stick with what I have or buy the performance exhaust? Thanks in advance.

For $1200, I'd get the MPE, though it will be quieter than your current setup.

That's correct. The MPE is only from the middle of the car and back. It is a bit louder than stock, but changes the tone quite a bit. If you want louder, the MPE won't cut it.

It'll be quieter but sound more refined. There is nothing like the hollow howl of an MPE. A straight up noise maker it is not. I also found it to balance perfectly with the s65 intake, it compliments the sound up front.

I have the MPE and it totally sounds different from other aftermarket exhausts. Very unique and tends to be on the quieter side but it wont leave you dissapointed. Going to add a test pipe soon to bring out the howl alittle more

I have the perforated mod (which is quieter than yours) and I noticed the MPE was significantly quieter when I rode them back to back. Almost as quiet as stock, and I don't think the perf method mod is that loud to begin with. It may sound great from outside but you won't be able to hear a thing inside.

I have the M Performance exhaust and cruising around town it sounds a little louder than the stock. In my opinion, it is better looking than the stock exhaust too. However, when you're driving like this car is meant to be driven (ie 7,000+ rpm), the exhaust sound is unbelievable - a deep, LOUD rumble. I would take mine to a track day just to hear the exhaust.
