Which setup would make the Megan racing axle back louder?

Turner test pipes with secondary cats/resonators, or Sosi x pipe with primary cats, minus secondary cats/resonators? I can't remove the primary's due to emissions, so I'm just wondering which setup would be louder.

Thanks.

If you are worried about emissions this is a non starter.

I agree. I just did the same with the Megan and I think it sounds amazing. Of course I don't have to worry about a CEL, smell, or emissions issues.

I posted videos in this thread:

Sounds good. What do you mean after 5K RPM it's all induction? Sounds stock?

Not completely. At lower RPM the exhaust is loud enough that it drowns out the engine noise. Once the revs are high and the throttle is floored the induction finally over powers the exhaust and you can hear it again. I like it this way because I can still drive it to redline without being obnoxiously loud.

Actually, I'm looking for a setup where the induction does not drown out the exhaust volume when floored or in the upper RPM's

Your first proposed setup removes the primaries. Check out what a test pipes is.

You said you can't remove your primaries so your only option is to replace the Megan muffler. Also I forgot to mention I have the AFE stage 2 intake so that probably makes my induction louder. I have never had a stock intake so I don't know the difference.
