Most of the racing versions of exhaust systems will be the loudest.

That video is of a GT2 WITHOUT cats. OP was asking for loudness WITH cats. I have the GT2 and it's pretty loud, but not over the top compared to a lot of these American muscle cars running around without cats.

I don't recommend doing that either. I ran the AA X-pipe with high flow cats and it was just like that video above. I couldn't even go WOT because it was absurdly loud to the point where lame loud Harley guys would give ME the bad look.

The GT2 by itself is the best sound you can get out of the exhaust IMO and is also the meanest sounding for the E9X M3 (again, IMO). Everyone and their grandma have opinions about what sounds good so just go with what you like. There are a lot of people that hate the GT2 so go figure.

That it's too deep, sounds like a muscle car, too erratic, too loud, not raspy enough, etc, etc. Granted that's only from other E9x M3 owners on the forums. I've only heard good things from other car owners outside of the E9X M3 realm. Hell the F8X M3/4 guys love my exhaust haha.
I wouldn't trade this exhaust for any other and I've heard/seen every video online and heard many setups in person and none can compare to the GT2.

There is definitely drone from 2k- 2800 RPM. It's louder than the Gintani, but not by much. It's more growly than the Gintani as well. I'm personally not a fan of the Gintani exhaust, but others love it (again, just personal preference).

I was posting the vid regards to revinora without cats...
I had gt2 tit version. I personally loved it, didn't find it too deep, I myself prefer the high pitch sounds. Drone city under 3000rpm so depending on how you drive you can get out of it. If you're ever going to do HFC or cat delete, forget the GT2. It is absurd. Just ridiculous. You can drive with earplugs and you'll still be deaf. |
