Need Help Identifying a Brace
I bought an extra stock exhaust to modify ACM style. Awesome sound, btw.
https://goo.gl/photos/4dBQmK1XzcNRRVN7A This is on a 2011 e93 M3. I bought it last year (CPO, btw) and have done very little in the way of mods. So this being the first time under my car, I was very surprised to find this: https://goo.gl/photos/oBnpnD4s1e3jzotf6 Can anyone identify the brace? Is it custom? |

Not standard on e92 but I have never been underneath an e93.

Convertibles have added bracing. I noticed this brace under an E93 recently. Whether it would help an E90 or E92 is unknown. Good question. Adds weight, which generally reduces performance.
