ESS 625 supercharger kit
So just wanted to share with the community my newest soon to be mod. Just put a deposit down to get the ess 625 kit installed at ACM. I am super excited about this. Went to ACM last week got my tranny, diff and oil changed. They took an oil sample and sent it to Blackstone. I got the call yesterday and everything looks awesome from the sample
I am freaking out and just cant freaking wait. I know this is a pretty pointless thread but i had to share with someone. Nobody I know or associate with gives a damn so thanks for reading lol. I will be sure to post up pics and a review of what I can only assume will be a flawless install with ACM, as I have dealt with them on quite a few occasions. I cant wait to be added to the supercharged (manual) m3 owners list. Thanks Again |

Yes. From engine tear down investigations, you can see the damage. However, it is just common engine knowledge, since the rod and crank move in sync.

Yes do your rod bearings during the SC install, that way you dont pay extra for labor since engine is already cracked open. Id go with WPC treated bearings and do ARP rod bolts 800-900 bucks in extra parts "cost you over 2k if you do it later" but well worth it while your doing the install.
Oh make sure to change out your spark plugs as well, SC eats em like candy omm nom nom.
