Coilover help
Hi guys,
Looking at getting some coilovers, These will be to go on a track car Looking for as much adjustability as possible and To have external reservoirs What is there out there? I've seen the Ohlins TTX, Nitron R3 and JRZ systems. What others can be bought? I'm struggling finding everything that's available to my spec! I want to see what my options are before deciding on what I buy! |

Ultimately I believe big determining factors are goals with the build and budget.
The Ohlins TTX is a great damper! If this is in the playing cards, I'd imagine you have a high budget with true race car purposes. I'd more strongly consider the JRZ 1231 triple adjustable. Browsing through this and many other forums, there seems to be more enthusiasts running JRZs. So community support is strong. In addition, JRZ has dealers and teams all around the world that can provide direction as well. I almost picked up a set of Nitrons, but locally it was non-existent to have any support (rebuilds, chassis setup, customer service).

If I were buying coilovers right now with a budget of $3000, I buy either these http://store.bimmerworld.com/used---...nts-p2248.aspx or these http://store.bimmerworld.com/used---...nts-p2247.aspx. You are welcome.

FYI -- The AST's are upgradeable to triples with external cans. Obviously, you have good taste in shocks.

Do not underestimate Nitron. They make fantastic shocks/combo. Its tested through and phonecall support is excellent. For others, VAC in the US are a Nitron dealer (can also service them) and Tony is a great guy to deal with. Cheers, Lutfy |

Thanks for all the help guys!
I have actually gone for a set of Moton (AST) WTCC dampers! Got a cracking deal in a set and couldn't refuse! Can't wait to get them and installed! |
