The exhausts itself is the same the tips are just longer. I put a E90 exhaust on my E92 and just swapped the tips. If memory serves me correct they are about an inch longer.

Sorry no pics, but my E90 came with and E92 MPE. The tips will stick out far enough to likely bother you. If my memory serves me correctly it is a little over an additional 1.5 inches. Instead of cutting and moving the tips you could get a set from EAS for the E90 which are single wall and bigger.

I had this issue with a 335i I previously owned. Vanguard at the time did not offer adjustable tips, so it stuck out about 1.5 hinches too far. Eventually it annoyed me to the point that I had them cut open and brought in to be flush with the bumper. Chances are if you decide to put an exhaust meant for the e92 on your e90, the tips will detract from the car and will cause you to eventually get them brought in.

My E92 had an E90 exhaust last weekend. Actually didn't look bad.

this is my E90 M3 with e92 Dinan installed... i do not have other pics handy, this is the only one. to be honest i hate the look of a flush or tucked exhaust... this is the only way i'd run it. while it does stick out a couple inches you wont be tripping over it
the stock exhaust doesnt come out far enough imho

The image link is broken, any chance we could get another? I'm really considering just going with an e92 exhaust on my e90 as well.

Yea looks pretty terrible I agree, like a body kit that does not fit proper. Just looks like you cut some corners to save money or something lol.

it's subjective i guess... i think that grey sedan looks great with the exhaust like that.
muffler tips should extend past the bumper a little bit. the stock or E90 on E90 doesnt extend far enough imho... something in between might be ideal but E92 on E90 is still better than stock.

Looks like the car has an exhaust boner.
