Cold Start Misfire
Started up the car last Sunday and got a CEL associated with an "Increased Emissions" message. Took it to the dealer the next day and they tell me its a faulty Idle Air Valve... so a week later when I get it back the shop foreman sits me down and starts talking about how they kept getting misfire codes from the car while they were diagnosing the IAV. He is telling me they sampled the gas and that it had 11% Ethanol. So I've been filling up at the same 4 gas stations for the last 3 years and it just now causes problems?? not buying it.
Anyone else ever had an issue like this? When I fire up the car after its been sitting all night it does have a really rough idle during the cold start, but smooths out after I start driving.

Agreed. Here in California, every single gas station has a sticker on the pump that says up to 10% ethanol mixed in. 11% isn't going to break anything.

So if its not Ethanol, any ideas what it could be? this morning it barely started and didn't want to stay running until I gave it a big foot full of gas.
