Cnt or megan racing exhaust?
Currently I have Acm primary test pipes, oem secondary cats and oem resonators. I have the oem exhaust box but I opened it up and straight piped it [louder method] . Currently I'm don't dailying the car and wanted a real exhaust. I've been looking at the Cnt or megan and did research around but very few comments on either. I heard the Cnt is loud under 2 3k while quiet on the highway. The megan is not as loud but has an 'exotic" sound at higher rims. Anyone have more experience with either or and can give me their opinions? For the people who had the oem exhaust mod and changed to either Cnt or megan, is there a noticeable exhaust note difference or power diff etc? Thanks fellas.

From what I've seen/heard, the CNT is more of a muscle car sound and the Megan is more of an exotic sound. Personally I don't think the CNT sound belongs or sounds right coming from a M3, but I get why people like it. I'm biased though, with the top-down the Megan sounds amazing.

Ye man lmk I'm very curious to know. I'd probably leave the Acm primary cats on and leave the oem cats and resonators. But the cnt is cat back so probably have the Acm test pipe and the full exhaust. So lmk man thanks.

It's your car -- buy what YOU think sounds best. Everyone's ears are different.

A friend of mine has the Megan and it sounds good but I think we're gonna go with CNT on our M just because I like that sound a little more.

Ever think about the Remus? I have the Remus Race with ACM test pipes and I absolutely love it! They are all around the same price range, maybe give it consideration? Here's a link to my vid.

Also, OP, have you considered attending some local meetups to hear them in person? YouTube is notoriously unreliable -- there's so many different cameras out there that can be positioned differently.

Thanks guys for the responses. You guys read the set up I currently have but I'd like more sound out of it but not crazy crazy drone and I hear the cnt has the drone way down low. But does anyone have any experience hearing a megan or Remus or cnt versus someone who has the oem exhaust mod. I wouldn't want to go from my set up that sound well not exactly where I'd like it to be to something that sounds the same. For those who don't know my set up open up around 4k and has no drone or any note really down low. But when it opens its loud. Any people who's went from the exhaust mod to any of these chime in? Thanks guys.
