Great review!

Been discussed here before: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=938276 but the product has really matured. The folks at iVINI put out frequent updates and they have dramatically increased the coding options.

BMW What is a father-son team that is extremely responsive to requests, particularly if they get a lot of feedback from the community on particular coding needs. Also really helps if you write a review and like the app. Bang for the buck, you can do quite a bit of coding (no battery coding yet) and diagnostically I think it's as good as BT, obviously for much less money. Convenience factor is a big plus too.

I absolutely love the ease and cost of this.
And it does everything I want it to do so far.

Very entertaining video!

I have a stupid question..
how is it pronounced? I noticed you call it BMW-what. I've been calling it BMW-hat lol.

This app (how ever you call it) is awesome though. I only need NCSExpert for very little now. Most popular coding is available in the app and they are constantly adding more

Buy the app.. Support the author. If they had no income, they would not be able to further development. As mentioned, it's a father son trying to make a product..

If people would stop stealing it, maybe they could afford to lower the price

No idea how you're suppose to pronounce it. I got confused as well.
Should have called it BMW-hat or BM-what. And not BMW-what. lol

Oh well - whatever its called - its awesome, cleared 4 codes and done 3 coding on my car without any issue

Well said! I paid the full £35 / $60 for the iPhone app - well worth it anyway

Does anyone happen to know how to reset all the codes back to default value. I did some coding and what to revert to stock but don't remember everything that I coded. I'm doing it on the iPhone.

There should be backup files if you go to the coding section.
Also, can't you just go back and change whatever you have coded back to the original?

For some reason the backup did not back up the first time around. I tried coding too many and can't remember all of it. Would be very helpful if someone have it. Thanks in advance.

I don't remember seeing an option to "reset" things back to standard.
I think you have to go back and change it manually individually.

What's bothering you?
Can't you just go back and change things that you remember that you don't want anymore?

The thing that bothering me the most is the mirror folding, sometime it work and sometime it doesn't. When it stop working, you can't even manually close it from inside the car. 2nd problem is when you press unlock, the angel eye normally turn on with lighting set to auto, that work from time to time. I don't know if you have any of those issues. But I tried reset that back, and it doesn't work so I'm assuming that I'm missing something.

I don't have any of those issues.
But I'm just guessing here.

Also, yours is a F-series right so I'm not entirely sure if the modules are different.

For the angels. Did you change any coding for them?
Could it be that in Auto the car will only turn on angels when its dark enough outside?

The folding mirrors need 2 coding steps in 2 different modules.

I can't remember which or where.
I'll try and take a look when I get a chance next.
