Yeah... cheap tires is the entire reason I bought a set of 17s!

APEX 18x11" ET44 with 12mm or 15mm spacers does the trick. Negative camber helps of course (-1.8 to -2 degrees), but most get away without having to roll fenders much.

I just received my NT01's from simpletire and am a bit disappointed that they have a build date of 2016. It's well within spec but I'm not sure where they're getting this old stock.

So I've been trying to get ahold of simpletire to ask about the old tires that I got and can't seem to get any type of response. I guess they are able to sell cheap tires because they have no customer service and source old stock tires.
I'll be going back to discount tire going forward. |

In any case. Take the 4 yr rule w a grain of salt. Unless your driving competitively I would not worry! |

Tire rack has been the most consistent for me, certainly not the cheapest though.

I wouldn't worry about it unless it's for competition purposes. As long as they are stored in a climate controlled environment, you'll be fine if it's from 2014/2015.

Just checked my NT01s I picked up from Simple Tire last month and mine are mid 2018 production as well. Not sure why the one guy got much older tires.
