Riviera and Mexico and Voodoo and Santorini are all just different shades of the same non metallic blue to me. Sure Riviera is a lot lighter than Santorini but it's just flat blue.

I think LSB is still a complete head turner. The way it looks so oddly flat yet deep and almost green tinted at dusk is insane to me.

I have Jerez and I love it to death when it's clean but if it has any dirt on it, it's hideous.

Love IB, and MCB is a nice and mature/muted blue.

Avus and those other more dull darker blues are bleh. . One of the worst is Orient blue on the E46. About as bad as seafoam metallic barf.

On the E46, I like Laguna Seca blue the best. It still looks great on the E9X, but I like Santorini Blue a little better, like this example.

Or this one

Sorry. I go horing the same photo but I love it.

But here's a new one from a month or two ago

Ironically similar to the wheelie bin blue. (Check second photo)

I love that it's metallic but emits a richness of colour closer to a solid

I do have a Jerez Blue. I like it, except I gotta wash the car twice a week to make it decently clean.

My worst blue is Yas Marina Blue for F8x M3/4. That is not even nearly close to real Yas Marina Blue.

Real Yas Marina Blue

My current cars are Orient, Interlagos, and Imperial Blue. I'm selling the Interlagos M3 and I've ordered an Estoril M235i. I love 'em all, but I think my favorite is San Marino - even though I haven't owned a car of that color.

Thanks all. So many good choices. I tend to like the darker, deeper blues more than those lighter, non-metallic ones. The San Marino is amazing.

My vote goes for Santorini - no bias here as I own a Jerez e90😊

Gotta post my all-time favorite blue M3 pics, very rare color:

That is midnight blue, not as dark as jerez black and goes well with light leather colors. I'd prefer that with platinum beige instead of cinnamon brown. My own one has IB with platinum beige.

Another perspective on IB ...
It's chameleon like.
In bright sun it can look like LMB.
When it's darker it takes on a deep hue.

Gotta be Monte Carlo for me. In the sunlight it is spectacular. Loved the M5 when it came out in this color several years ago and was saving my money to buy one when I came across my used Individual MB M3

I'm partial to Laguna Blue Pearl found on the AP2 S2000.

But for a truly unique and rare blue, Super Sonic Blue Pearl from the '99 Integra GSR
