Finally climbed out of the 2 week Rabbit Hole.
Motor mounts Spark plugs A/C and PS tensioner pulley A/C and PS deflection pulley Alt/WP/SC tensioner pulley New center tray (more expensive at FCP, but lifetime warranty...oh ya) The engine is noticeably higher after the new motor mounts. I was a little worried the hood wouldn't shut anymore.

Cooled down a bit here in the Tampa area, so naturally went for a drive near the beaches at sunset. I usually never see other E9x M3's around my hood (maybe once a month), and I saw two within two minutes of each other. Glitch in the matrix or something, haha

Rad! Apologies if you've gone over this and I missed it. Are you putting together AMG caliper retrofit packages or making a one off project for yourself?

Part 1 new plugs. 52k miles on these. Yuck. Part 2 is replacing the fuel pressure breather after dinner. Excited to see the results, my idle has been a little rough.

We are putting a kit together to offer it to the public. Another forum member here, myself, and one from the N54 world are opening up shop to provide cool innovative products to this and several other markets. More information will be out shortly as we are in the works for launching the business and to take it one step further than the hobby it has been. on a side note, just finished up these today. I think they came out amazing! Last edited by Vedubin01; 10-02-2020 at 06:18 PM.. |

Good results on the spark plugs, they made a huge difference on the engines willingness to rev at low RPM. I previously thought the DCT just stunk down low clearly this was long overdue.
Fuel pressure didn't solve the idle, I noticed the hose at the back of the plenum is being held on by a thread because half the clip is broken. Wondering if that extra air coming in is causing it if not I'll have to look at doing the idle control valve at some point.

Joined Alex@alpine's latest group buy earlier this week. I got the cable earlier this afternoon and Alex was kind enough to send my maps ASAP! Flashed stage 2 as well as the DCT GTS tune and just got back from a test drive. The car is a completely different animal; much respect and love to Alex. Anyone who is looking for a tune should definitely hop on his groupbuy!

Finally got my exhaust donut gaskets replaced, pre-cat. Suspected an exhaust leak for a long time but never did anything about it until now...I'm thinking they were bad?
