ZCP ordering 220 vs 359
There is a car ad for a 2011 E92 on one of the main car websites. The ad says competition package but the wheels are 220style. Had an email conversation with the private seller and he states it most definitely has ZCP but the original owner "upgraded" to the 220 wheels. Does anyone know if it is possible to order ZCP and actually downgrade to the 220's? I am aware it's not desirable but could they have done it, and perhaps BMW gave them a credit for the inferior wheel set up?

[QUOTE=Sephiroth;21664620]The wheels were swapped after sale or maybe at the dealer. I don't remember a way to change them from the factory[/
His email states "They were upgraded from BMW with the car order by first owner". So that would make sense that it was done after. Maybe they had an E93 customer and the dealer helped with a swap. Well, then I guess I will have too look further into the purchase of the car as I am interested. Thanks for adding some clarity. |

As a side note, how does the "reputation" work? Is it an accumulation of "appreciates"?
More to it than that? Is there a forum, sticky or post that explains all this? |

So, the dealer added premium by claiming their m3 with ZCP or just wrong info?
Do you get the car op?

Not a dealer, PVT sale. Seller just emailed me. He has owned the vehicle for two years and was not aware that it did NOT have ZCP. He ran the vin# this morning and now realizes that the car is not equipped with ZCP. He's correcting his ad as we speak. Nice guy, no intent to deceive.

Also, just a heads up nobody upgrades from 359s to 220Ms. Other way around. Most find that 359s are the best looking wheel on E9Xs.

Dig up some posts from 2010-2011 on that subject. There were definitely people who preferred the 220Ms and some who wanted ZCP with them. They are just not in style now.
