Quick release license plate holder
Does anyone have any information on where I can purchase the quick release license plate holder that fits in the front tow hook space on the bumper. I really don't want to drill the front bumper. I have seen video(s) on youtube and I would like to know where I can purchase it at. Thanks!

Thanks guys; the quick release plate holder is the one on MFEST. I will try to get another source, but from what I can see that one seems to be pretty tight and relatively easy to work.

The one on MFest is the one but, getting that one may take a little time. Seems they are running an "introductory offer" and I still have not been able to get vendor information to purchase direct. Its not a cost issue for me rather an issue of not wanting to drill my new bumper and having what seems like the best product. I am surprised there has not been more conversation on this issue. The MFest quick release seems to be a pretty slick fix to the drilled bumper issue. Well, I will keep plugging away.

No, I have not tried it, but I did see the video and it certainly looks pretty slick. The guy in the video took it off and on twice in less than 60 seconds and it looked solid. Just trying to keep the front bumper smooth and hole free. Surprised other people have not bitten on this; seems like more people would be interested in keeping the front end clean. I have been in contact with the vendor and I am trying to work out getting the unit. You think this would be a little more straight forward but.....

MFEST Quick Release Brkt.
Here is the what appears to be the current "for sale" thread on MFEST for the quick release brkt. http://www.mfestforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8388. The group buy was over months ago.
Here's a review of the bracket by a happy owner with photos: http://www.mfestforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8387

Anyone know if these will fit European plates? I've emailed and PM'ed the seller/creator many times with no response.

Somebody posted one on eBay that looks like it could have been bodged together with your tow hook, $20 and a trip to Home Depot (basically a piece of sheet metal for the bracket, some screws and nuts to hold the plate on, and a nut, bolt, and some big washers to attach it to the tow hook. Presumably you'd want to (medium strength) locktite the tow hook in so it doesn't come loose and fall off, and use nylock nuts since the whole thing is going to get vibration and hit by road debrid. If you need a quick fix for a ticket, I'd probably go that route. If you really want something permanent, then hit up the nicer stuff above.

I tend to take a lot of pictures of my cars... This just seems like the quickest, most elegant way to remove and remount the front license plate.
