how many are going to :

a) remove the existing dead pedal
b) fit it over the existing and see the black/silver showing through
c) other solution?

Is there a good reason not to remove the existing one?

I did option B. Wanted to see if it would bug me enough to go back and remove the OEM dead pedal and I haven't thought about it until right now.
You really can't see the OEM dead pedal behind it unless your face is in the foot well. Reasons not to are a) Pedal Haus designed the dead pedal to go over the OEM dead pedal and recommends doing so b) you have to snap the rivets off of the OEM dead pedal to remove it so there is no good way to reinstall if need be. I try to avoid causing permanent damage where I can although I guess drilling holes in the brake and gas pedals defeats that argument.. I digress. Up to you.

So F series pedal covers for e9X cars? Good deal. I found a few vendors on amazon that have fairly solid reviews for these covers.

Ordered mine from Mashimarho for $99. Like the Pedal Haus, but these were much cheaper and look just as good if not better. Installing in the morning and will post pics.
