Have an x1 loaner today while some alarm issue is sorted on my x5d. Gotta say seriously fast. Pulled on the new f80 easily.

it was the new 2 liter turbo or whatever which is underpowered for that vehicle i think. didnt see much reason to want the x1 over the x5d. its too small for me with hauling tires and track gear all the time and it barely gets any better gas mileage.

Watch out with that X1 , it's much lighter than your X5 .
Think It would smoke your X5 .

You must be confused, I have an x1 and it is only faster than the e92 and e46 M3, not the F80. It runs 11.9 1/4 mile with 116mph trap, it won't pull on a F80 M3. And it only runs 1:43 with 255 width street tires on the club course at mid ohio as well (and I am not the best driver). F80 can beat both of these times with a good driver and good tires - it is an extremely fast car.

nah the X1 should be able to pull a f80 just how the op said.
